Various One-Off Ad Designs

THE GOAL:
Making advertisements for brands of my own and for other brands is a passion of mine, and it's where I started back in 2014. Semi-realistic/clean design is what I'm best at.
When I'm looking at an empty canvas, it's always my goal to shine the best light possible on the product or service that I'll be advertising.
ADIDAS ADVERTISEMENTS:
Making advertisements for a respectable clothing brand/shoe company has always been a dream of mine, and Adidas is one of those companies. In making these advertisements, I was producing my take on what advertisements for specific products might look like. The NMD R1 shoes are lifestyle/streetwear, so I placed them in the street with some vibrant, eye-catching colors. The Terrex shoes are hiking shoes, so of course I put them in an environment someone might hike in.
JUICE WRLD - RIGHTEOUS ALBUM COVER:
I look at album covers as a type of "advertisement" to represent the song. In this Juice WRLD single cover for his first posthumous song titled Righteous, I do just that. The song references drug use and how Juice WRLD was struggling with addiction. My interpretation of the cover had his two drugs of choice on a nightstand next to him, because the song mentions the drug, codeine, knocked over on his nightstand. Same thing with the "all white gucci suit," and the, "blood moons in my eyes," lyrics.
If you're curious to see what the process was like to make this design, please check out the speedart for it below! I also added the song that I'm making the cover for, in the background!
***WARNING: SOME MUSIC MAY BE UNSUITABLE FOR SOME VIEWERS AND IS NOT A REPRESENTATION OF MYSELF***
BURBERRY TOUCH AD:
When considering designing advertisements for companies who likely won't see it, I try to do advertisements for products I actually use and enjoy. This Burberry Touch ad was no different. I came across this cologne in TJMaxx, decided to try it, and really liked it. When it came time to do an advertisement for a product in my photography class, making this my subject seemed obvious. After setting up the lights, setting up the scene, taking the photo, and getting the raw file back to my computer, I decided to add a tree line in the cap to make it unique and feel natural.
SPIDER-VERSE WHOPPER AD:
I've always been a big fan of Spiderman, particularly the "Spider-Verse" series, so making a design for the burger only made sense. It's rather difficult to make an ad for something you haven't seen before (for example, the new Spider-Verse movie), but I tried to make it as best I could based on the old movie.
DRO KENJI TOUR POSTER:
One of the fun things about going to a show is seeing the awesome souvenirs to commemorate your trip. In the case of Dro Kenji's With or Without You Tour, I hadn't seen many advertisements or posters. This is my attempt at making both a poster, and something that could be posted on social media to show people that a show is coming near them!
FANDUEL AD:
A couple years back, I was in the cards for being a graphic designer at Fanduel. It came down to the wire, and ultimately I was unfortunately narrowly missed in the selection. When my second interview came I didn't want to come empty-handed. The senior designer really appreciated the gesture and liked the design as well.
FINALMOUSE STARLIGHT-12 AD:
I originally saw the advertisement for this product and wasn't a huge fan, so I decided to recreate the design in a way that I felt was fitting for the quality of the product! Plus, this was a limited run of only 5,000!
FLAGRANT 1,000,000 SUBSCRIBER AD:
It would be an understatement to say that I'm a fan of comedy, and I'm a huge fan of the Flagrant podcast by Andrew Shultz. This post was meant to be celebratory in response to their podcast reaching one million subscribers on YouTube. This is something I could certainly see them posting on their social medias.
HAPPY DAD FRUIT PUNCH AD:
Considering I made an entire variety pack concept for Happy Dad, it was a no-brainer to make an advertisement for their (at the time) newest official flavor. One of my favorite aspects of this piece is the color and environmental reflections in the water throughout.
NIKE ADVERTISEMENTS:
Nike is an all-time dream company to work for. For the longest time, Nike has been the only thing that I wear. When it comes to making designs for them, I try to make advertisements for shoes I love. My favorite Nike piece so far is the Tech Hera advertisement, and after making it I liked my ad so much that it even made ME want to shoes so much more!
